Results, benefits, impact and lessons learnt
The results of this survey show, first and foremost, a general interest in the issue of and audiovisual media in hospitals. This interest has led to a multitude of actions that have already been implemented: more than half of the of the respondents stated that they were developing a film/audiovisual action. These actions are very diversified and range from film screenings (which are very common, especially on DVD) to the production of a DVDs) to the production of a film or the hosting of film shoots. Some establishments (a minority, however), invested in a cultural policy at the center related to the cinema and/or audiovisual, combine several actions around this theme (screenings and artistic practice workshops or broadcasting on the internal channel and hosting film shoots, for example). The majority of respondents believe that these different actions generate social links, develop the cinema's audiences and/or open the hospital to the city.
