Description of initiative
“Museotherapy” is an annual conference held by a group of scientists, practitioners - public that is fascinated with sociotherapeutic and psychotherapeutic working methods applied in museums. During the two-day meeting, we are examining the relations of educational programs beneficiaries and employees from various cultural heritage institutions.
Museotherapy is also a set of education activities. We working in groups (schools and individual peple) with stres, problems with wellbeing, cancer, emocional issues.
We want make diffrence in peple lifes and show that museum can be "safe space" when everyone can feel good and with the help of art can change thinking perspective of life.

Results, benefits, impact and lessons learnt
Since 2018, over 400 participants have participated in the Muzeoterapia conference (held every year, except for 2020). Participated in classes conducted since 2022 for children, adolescents and adults ( around 2400 ppl). The classes improved the expression of emotions among children and adolescents - they improved communication in the group. "Mindfulness" exercises improved concentration and concentration among the youngest participants. The classes for adults improved the mental condition of the participants and allowed them to establish new relationships in their lives. In the minds of the participants, the museum began to be a place that not only collects collections but also an institution where important social issues are discussed.
